Hi deng,

if the report is coming uut of BW server then all you have to do is make a query for the Report in BEx Query designer and generate the URL for the same...

Type the same url on the PDA browser...it will ask for the BW server id and password ...

give the same and you will get your report on PDA.

Hi Deng,

Goto Start-- All ProgramsBusiness ExplorerQuery designer..

It will ask you choose the BW server and ask for details.

Once connected you need to create the query that will give your report.

Execute the query there and you will get the URL.

Type the same url in the PDA browser...

it will show your report.

I forgot to mention...Business explorer is only seen on the start menu if you have installed it during SAP Gui installation.

Also i believe your BW server is in the same LAN which your comp is connected.

PDA is a device...Personal Digital Assistant..

it has a Pocket IE installed on it.

If you want BW reports u have to follow the steps i told you...

I installed a Pocket PC 2003 on the pc for test,i can open any URL but BW report URL not, and the BW report URL can open on the pc IE,Why?

Dear Deng,

The PIE present in WM 2003 SE is pretty old, try the WM6.0 / WM6.1.4 emulator for a better PIE. If you are having problems with them also, please be informed that PIE is not a full blown desktop browser (though the one found in WM6.1.4 comes close to desktop according to Microsoft). Some elements might not render properly. Hope it helps.

It should have opened in the same PIE..

try downloading Mini Opera for PDA'a and then try to open it.

have you made internet settings of the PDA same as ur LAN settings to which ur computer is connected.

Hi Hemant,

In Your PDS menu---settings-Connections

make all the proxy settings similar to the Computer throught which you are accessing the LAN

ie. ip settings and the port.
