Manual entry of the Date of manufacturing and the SLED/BBD date in the COR6N - T -code

Hi Guru's,

How to maintain the Date of manufacturing and the SLED/BBD.date manually in the COR6N (T-Code) for the 101 movement type. I have maintained the Min.Rem,Shelf.life and total shelf life in the material master - Plant data/Stor.1 . During the confirmation of the process order in COR6N

the SLED is greyed out (no input possible) . I have removed the Min.rem.shelf life and the total shelf life then during the confirmation when the goods movement is selected in the COR6N both the date of manufacturing and SLED/BBD are greyed.

Please suggest how to maintain the SLED and date of manufacturing manually in the COR6N - T-code.Any Exists or BADI availble please suggest

Thank you

Best Regards,

Phani

Please read the SAP Note 567522 - Consulting: Dialog box for entering production date/SLED

it explains when a dialog box for entering of expiration date is shown and when not.

Is there no dialog box in your case? Can you check which situation listed in the note you actually have ?

In the IMG is also an entry for a Badi under the SLED tree. In the docu for it is said that the SLED is calculated from the production date since with inhouse production the production date is known, while for external procurement the user usually does not know the production date. And because of this the production date is asked for inhouse production and the SLED for external procurement. With the Badi you could influence the logic.

did the process order already exist before you maintained your material master?

Hi,

Only after maintaining the master data Min.Rem.Shelf.life and total shelf life in the material master then only the Process order is created .

Thank you

What happens next? Do you get an error message if you post it like it is?

if it posts like it is, do you then have a shelf life date in the batch or not?

No error message is triggered and the confirmation is completed, but the user wants to enter the SLED/BBD manually.

The SLED/BBD is calculated , but the user wants to maintain the SLED/BBD manually based on his requirements.

Now the SLED field is greyed out user not allowing the user to change the SLED

Thank you.

is this a partial receipt?

Is this a receipt to an existing batch?

Is this the receipt of a WIP batch?

During the Confirmation (COR6N) of the Process order of quantity 40,000.PC

1) This is not a partial receipt.Auto Goods receipt of 40,000 PC is carried out during the confirmation.

2) The receipt is for the existing batch number.(Batch number is created automatically during the process order release - with out the Date of manufacturing and the SLED details for the batch)

3) This is not a receipt for the WIP batch.

Now the user wants to make the changes in the SLED/BBD and the date of manufacturing manually in the COR6N -goods movement screen

Thank you
