hi

In the IP30 screen , specify the selection criteria for the maintenance plan.tick mark the Rescheduling and Immediate start for all .in the interval for call object specify the no of days you want to schedule.ie if you have specified 30 days system will check for the maintenance plan for which the planned date falls within 30 days and execute

hi

i don't understand your requirement clearly , if you are running the IP30 daily ,then what is the use of running IP30 monthly which will have same result.

To run the IP30 in back ground daily ,after specifying the criteria ,from the menu Program>Execute in background,in the new screen press Date and Time and tick mark the Periodic job .Then select the periodic values where you can specify the frequency and save ,system will run daily in the background which will create the maintenance call object

Hi

Please note that there is no need to go for variant for automatic creation of order daily or monthly ,you can execute the IP30 in background

Steps

1.select the maintenance plans and enter the interval of call objects as 30 (in case of monthly)

2.select the indicators Rescheduling and immediate start for all

3.select execute in background

4.select the "Date/time " tab and enter the scheduled start date and time

5.select the period job check box

6.select the periodvalues tab and select the tab "monthly' and save

7.save the scheduling

Now the this program will run every month on the date and time you have specified in step4

Thanks

Hi,

Thiyago and K

hi

Just specify LP01 ( or any installed printer in SAP from F4) and press enter ,and proceed further ,in the sequence specify the frequency as monthly and execute

Hi Thyagarajan & K

Thts very helpful and good ans to me thats what i was searching ...

Well at last it gave me pop up as background scheduling done..

So is there any procedure remain further ?

hi

if you run IP30 ,system will search for maintenance plan in which the planned dates are due ,if you have executed IP30 already and there is no planned one then ,then program will run but no call objects will be created .( it is depend on the frequency of maintenance plan)

Hi Thiyago,

You mean to say if just now system run RISTRA20 in background then it will release any due call left and still if i execute same plan again then that will be of no use

Correct me if i am wrong ..
