Sending E-mail notifications to Buyers on successful PO creation in SRM

Hi All,

We want to send e-mail notifications to the 'Buyers'/ 'Purchasing Groups' when an SRM PO is successfully created after SC approval.

How this can be done in SRM?

Hi,

Standard workflow notifications are generated by the system after a PO is released. Check the setting. 'Define Receipeint for notifications' setting in SPRO.

You might need to modify workflow template, if your requirement is not met. You can insert a 'Send mail' step after PO release step in workflow.

Othe solution could be writing a code in BBP_DOC_SAVE badi for sending mail, whenever a PO is ordered

Hi,

You have to do the followng configuration-

Go to SPRO setting Cross- Application settings>Set Out put actions..>Define actions for output.

Select BBP_PD_PO as Action Profile. Under Action Definition tab goto Processing Time and choose Processing when saving and then goto Processing Times Not Permitted and choose Immediate Processing

Do this, I think this will solve your problem
