Cart Abandonment Standard Process - for unknown consumer

Hello Experts,

Can someone suggests how the cart abandonment works if the consumer record doesn't exist in yMKT? There can be a scenario that the consumer record doesn't exist in hybris marketing and the consumer at ycommerce has done a cart abandonment event. How hybris marketing handles such a situation? I couldn't find any document on this scenario in JC8 documentation. Does yMKT will ignore that interaction?

Also what should be the origin for the interaction record coming from hybris commerce- it should match with the origin id with which the customer is created? How the system checks for the customer with the incoming interaction record in yMKT system? Kindly assist.
