Hi,
"Requirement, we wants to buy (A) material from the vendor, and then convert material to (B) Via MB1B when it arrives. So that VSF, sales order and also safety stock under (B) material, but my PO is under (A) material , we need to find a way to transfer requirements on B onto A materials"
Note: Both are raw materials, B raw material is selling and A will purchasing
Is it possible a way to generate requirements through Material requirement planning
Please suggest
Regards,
Ram
Hello
There is a standard option available in the DIMP industry solution, that is to use MPN-MRP sets. See the link below for details:

If you cannot use DIMP, then you can use the BAdI MD_ADD_ELEMENTS to create your own logic to read the requirements from the other material.

Hi Ram,
Part 1 : First you create Material "A" with Purchasing view mandatory. And then raise PO for Material "A" --> Goods receipt (GR) and then Invoice verification (IR) for the same. So that cycle completes and you get a stock into your store.
Part 2 : Now you create Material "B" with MRP and sales view mandatory. Maintain all MRP data as per your MRP procedure (eg: Reorder point) and maintain safety stock in MRP2 view.
Part 3 : Now go to MIGO-->TRANSFER POSTING-->MOVT TYPE 309. Transfer post from Material A to Material B. It generates both Material and accounting document and stock transfer from A to B. So that you can sell Material "B".
Next you run MRP for Material "B" if you find stock falls below reorder point then start same procedure as explained above part 1, part 2 and then part 3.
