Hi,
We have a requriment of creating a input enabled query on a Multiprovider. This MP is built on real time and actual cube.
We need to fetch data from actual cube, edit it and write to real time cube.
We have created a query on a MP, but this is presently not input enabled.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Tilak

Hey Tilak,
man for creating input ready query u need at least one aggregation level. lets assume like this
we have an actual cube A1 and a planning cube P1. if ur requirement is only to read actuals edit and save it in the cube P1 then u to include p1 and A1 in the multi provider M1.
just build a aggregation AL1 level on M1. create planning functions based on AL1 in which u will read data from A1 for processing.
Also the input query needs to be created on this aggregation level AL1.
icase if u need any more help contact me
regards.
Shafi.

You need to create an aggregation level on your MP and then create a input-ready query on that aggregation level. To make key-figures input-ready put restriction on Infoprovider to include only real-time cube.

One further tip:
When defining your aggrgation level you need to keep in mind that any characteristic (except the lowest level) you include in it will need to be restricted in some way or other. If it is not (left unassigned) then the query will not be open for input and you will receive a warning when running the query.
Hi,
Input ready query cannot be built directly over MP
You can define an input-ready query on any of the following InfoProviders:
● Aggregation levels (see Aggregation Levels)
● MultiProviders that include at least one simple aggregation level
