SAP Leonardo IoT Architect - Work Scope and Responsibility

Hi All :-

I am currently working on SAP Leonardo platform ( IoT application ) on PoC .My typical experience as Application Development Architect in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA , Data Integration using SAP PI/PO and IBM WebSphere. Also Good knowledge on SCP/HCP services .

As we know IoT Architecture consist of multiple Layers :-

Solution Layer's

1. Acquisition
2. Aggregation
3. Analysis
4. Assignment
5. Action

I am fine with solution Layer 2 to 5 and aware of IoT service , Application enablement and Data Ingestion / Data management .

My question :- For Layer -1 'Data Acquisition' how much deep knowledge needed . As this talk moreover on hardware ( Controller , sensor ...network etc .) Or Limited to following below .

1. Python programming for collected data.
2. GPIO programming using Python and remote monitoring /control.
3. Pushing collected data to cloud platforms.
4. Designing sensor nodes to collect multiple parameters (Temperature, Humidity, etc).
5. Uploading data on local gateway as cache.

also I would like to know as SAP Leonardo IoT Architect - Work Scope and Responsibility .
