Hello,

I'm having ome troubles with the transaction VK33, the system gives me always a shortdump. WHen looking a bit further, I noticed that the reports aren 't generated. Do I have to do something specific to generate them ?

Hi Demol,

Pls ask the ABAPer to put the break point at the location where dump has came ( this statement we can see in ST22 ). And try to execute the tcode VK33 again and ask them to debug. In almost all the cases we can identiy the issue through debugging process.

Other way is pls check the selection screen inputs given , if you give any wrong data in that , then in the program there may be a case where it divides by zero , in this case it gives a dump etc.

Other way is pls copy the error message and go to service.sap.com and search it .

Hi

Check the problem using ST22 , but later on you consult your BASIS consultant and tell the problem what you analyzed when you used ST22 .So that it can be easily solved

Try running the program RV80HGEN. If it doesn't help, ask your Basis admin or an ABAPer.

Note: Meanwhile, try to analyse Shortdump, with -

Transaction: ST22 or SM21

But, instead of go round-and-round, Its always advisable to call Job-Expert, to resolve the issue. Contact BASIS-Admin.
