How to show print preview on IC Web Client?

Hi Experts,

How can we provide print preview functionality of the smartform in IC Web Client?

CRM Version:CRM 2007 -IC Web Client.

The print action is not working.

The printer settings said in notes are not useful too.

Please advice.

Thanks,

Adi.

    Hi Adi,

I am not sure whether you have already gone though the OSS Notes, never-the-less, please find below a list of OSS Note, which is related with the Print Preview functionality:

862511 -> Unable to print from email preview screen

985282 -> Printing via smartforms require converting tabs to spaces

885972 -> Email printing in IC WebClient: Long text truncated

969726 -> Using Smartforms to print plain text

1131882 -> Using Smartforms to print plain text (version 2)

Kindly do check whether the above suggested Notes are in place.

    With Best Regards,

    Vinod

    • Hi Chandu,

Also in the past, the BTF Editor (UI Tag "BTF") has been used as IC Mail Editor (since CRM 2007). To use the parameters I have mentioned, just see prerequisites from SAP Note 1921115. You do not need to switch to the new editor to use these parameters.

Some additional information for clarification: with SAP Improvement Notes 2116845 a new editor - often called Rich Text Editor has been introduced. Although it introduces a new UI Tag rteMCE, it is not directly included in the mail view CRMCMP_CCS_EML/MailBody. Here you still find the UI Tag BTF.

Nevertheless, if you activate the business function, then a delegation takes place on the WebUI layer. Instead of the used UI Tag BTF, the new UI tag rteMCE is used.

Both editors are part of BSP Extension THTMLBX.

      Best Regards,
      Sigrid
