Generally people just use the print capabilties of the browser. This will print exactly what you see in the browser. Since the rendering is done on the client by the browser, there isn't really a good way to print that on the server in ABAP. For the WDA ALV, you have the option to produce a PDF based print output. If you just have table data you want to print and not the entire UI of the application, you can submit this data to a background job or force print it to the spool using the old SALV classes.
