RFC configuration: You have no password

Hi Experts

We are experiencing a lot of problems setting the ALE layer. The objective is sending from a R/3 4.7 system to an ECC 6.0 an idoc MATMAS with the material data master. We are generating the idoc correctly, and it stays with status 03 (sent succesfully) but it never reaches the destination system.

Connections are working since it works if we send it from Tx we19.

Reviewing the settings done in RFC configuration, we see that the password is not being saved, and we get an error "You have no password. You cannot log on using a password".

Could someone give some light on this?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Neil

In fact, if someone finds the same error, there are two things to check:

  • First of all, if working with an R/3 4.7 you have to enter a user whose pasword only contains capital leters and numbers, since when saving all the letters are turned on automatically to capital letters.

  • Second of all, make sure you're not using the initial password of the user.

Thanks anyway for the tips.

Neil
