Dear Gurus,

As per my knowledge schema TM04 is used to calculate Overtime also (TW15,TW30 schemas), since TM04 is for negative time evaluation, we do not capute regular attendance in TM04 yet how it is used to capture the attendance ?

As per my knowledge we can capture other than regular attendance like Business trip attendance, training attendance, attending seminar attendance in TM04 ...Please correct me if i am mistake.

If TM04 is also used for Overtime calculation, where can we see that an employee worked more than stipulated /8 hrs in a day ?

Why TM04 is also used for OT calculations, since it deals with negive time recording ?

Please provide your valuable suggestions on this...

Regards,

Hasini

Hi,

Subschema like TW15 for example is used to determine OT on a daily basis, this uses the pcsr's TO01 is used set valid limit on number of hours (ex:8 hours daily working time) and TO02 to evaluate OT limit, once the limit is reached here 8 hours the attendance times are assigned processing type M. Similarly TW20 & TW30.

Thanks,

Hi Tara / All,

Thank you for your suggestion,

In negative time mgmnt,(deviations / absences) are captured, when absences are being captured using TM04 how can OT be calculated since attendance is not being captured.

My doubt is if you are following positve recording, attendance will be captured as well as changes are there to capture the OT hrs also even you use TM04, but in negative time mgmnt absence are being captured not the attendaces in that case how OT being calculated.

How TW15 / TW30 are used to caputre OT hrs in TM04 when negative time recording.

Please provide your valuable support......excuse me if i am bugging....

Hasini,

Attendances can be captured using CATS or IT2002 where we use attendance/absence types to caputure this in. Based on this system reacts to determine any deviations / OT.

Thanks,

Hasini,

If you want to capture daily clock-in & clock-out you need to use Clocking Terminals which need to be configured to the SAP . Other wise to capture other attendances like business trip/ course etc you can create different Attendance types and use them to caputre the time on the CATS or relevant infotypes.

Thanks,

Tara

Hi Sikinder / All,

Thank you for responding, as you suggested IT2011 is used to get the Time Events. But

As per my knowledge IT2011 and IT0050 are used exclusively in Poistive Time Managment (TM00) to record the login and log outs, can these be used in TM04 also ?

Please suggest and correct me......

wht in case if customer wants Time Events and he will be maintaing TM04

he will update that infotype manually and executes the TM04 so in that case

it is not mandate na to have only for Positive Time Management

Thank you for correcting me,

Actually my doubt is if TM04 is used for both Positve and Negative time mgmnt, is there any provision to run TM00 for positive ?

Because as per my knowledge if it is negative time mgmnt TM04 is being used, if it is positive time mgmnt TM00 is being used.

As per requirement if negative time management method is followed, how OT calculation take place i mean negative means deviations / Absences are recorded, how OT take place .......i am really doubtful about this..

Please correct me and guide me.......
