Concurrent Employment in two comapny codes

Hi,

My client want that a particular population of employees should be active in two company codes. The currency is same for two company codes. Currency for two company codes is same. There is no SAP payroll system.I got the suggestion that it can be achieved thru concurrent employment. But I am not sure that whether we can achieve concurrent employment in two different company codes.

Please suggest.
