Input only text - Master Inspection Char.

Hi,

I cant find any way to set master inspection only for entering text (using QS23).

I dont need any check for this text input and I dont need it to be fail or pass , only as an information as a part of the inspection .

Anyone knows if it can be set ?

the moderator is right of course. I used following terms in the web search engine:

'sap mic input text only'.

First and second hits were relevant:

1. 'result recording in only character without any selection set and catelog.'

It is not clear above if you need to have the text displayed as part of your master data. (Inspection plans) or your request is to let your user input a text at the time of Results recording.

If you are interested on the 1st case..you could create a generic (QL) characteristic and use the long text or info fields or inspection methods to provide the instructions to the lab technicians.

If your objective is for the lab people to input the text at RR then you could create a generic QL characteristic (Yes / NO) with a preset indicator "Documentation Required) so that everytime the system will request a text from the inspector to input.
