Custom value help for custom field in extended cds

Hi Experts,

I have extended a standard CDS by adding custom fields. I want to show two step value help on them so I followed this blog:

I dont get any error but still my value help does not show the two step dialog. Any idea if I need to do any additional step like regeneration of service or write some code in MPC. Please help as it is an urgent issue.
