Hello,
Our customer has about 180,000 spools in their system, and they cannot be deleted. We received an alarm for too many spool entries stored in the system, and our customer would like to increase the limit to 250,000. Right now, we have parameter rspo/spool_id/max_number set to 200,000.
As per Note 48284, I can increase this by changing the upper limit of the interval for number range object SPO_NUM in transaction SNRO. The SAP Note does not mention anything about parameter rspo/spool_id/max_number.
We currently have the upper limit for SPO_NUM set to 300,000.
My questions are:
1. Do I need to change rspo/spool_id/max_number at all? Or can I leave it as is, since the upper limit is 300,000?
My goal is to be able to have up to 250,000 spools stored in the system at one time without running into printing problems.
Thank you!
Ian
