NWDS 7.5 AS Java missing

Hi,

I have installed NWDS 7.5 (NWCEIDE03P_10-80002366) and installed it but the AS Java opton under Windows -> Preferences is missing. In fact I also noticed that NWDS plugin icon is missing on the screen shot below. Is there any udate that I am supposed to run?

Do you mean this feature is missing in Preferences:

Have you tried to search it only with "SAP" string? When I search it with "AS Java" there are no results for me neither (but adding SAP AS Java to the NWDS is included though).

The possible root causes might be:

* a problem with the ZIP archive you have downloaded (corrupted during download, or the unarchive program did something wrong);

* you do not use NWDS with Windows 10 and SAPJVM8;

* the ZIP archive is fine but the code page being used does not utilize Latin letters.

I have downloaded from the Software Download, this NWCEIDE03P_10-80002366.ZIP (this is NWDS 7.5 SPS 3 PL10).

After that, I am able to configure SAP AS Java system... and Help - About Eclipse does display a different picture:

Please download this one and try to use it.

In case, it is not possible to add SAP AS Java system again, there you do face isolated issue on your local environment.

Please try to find this SAP AS Java option from the left navigation menu:

If you can not find the SAP AS Java even from the left navigation menu (point 2), then probably the unarchiving programme does not un-archive all of the files. It might be that there is not sufficient disk space and not all of the files might be unarchived.

All in all, this NWDS archive (NWCEIDE03P_10-80002366.ZIP) does work for me, my colleagues and all of the other SAP's customers. You are the first one I know who has reported this event.

Please use NWDS 7.5 ONLY with Windows 10 and SAPJVM8! (2546316 - NWDS: use a JDK as JVM instead of a JRE)

Are you sure you are using NWDS? Can you please make a screenshot about the loading screen when your start the NWDS?
