Can we link busines objects in WEB DMS

Can we link sab object links EX- MM ,PP, FICO, etc in WEB document system.?

Object links can be viewed in the search results in web dms. But the object linking should be done in SAP DMS only.For the object links to be viewed from web dms, configuration can be done in sprosetup webdocumentsdefine sequence for field groupsdocument typedefine sequence for field groups. But we cant attach object links in webdms as far as i know.

Hi Rajes

You can do the additional settings for the document type that you want to edit in WebDocuments. You can edit document info records as well as the original application files assigned to them in the Web interface.

goto spro>cross application components>dms-->setupwebdocuments bsp

1.There you can enter your document type already defined in/customized in sap-dms and the required fields.

2. Select the document type, of which documents are to be edited in the web interface.

3.Determine Sequence of Field Groups: you can define the sequence in which you want the fields to appear here.

4.Select Functions for Web Interface:you can select the functions you want to use in the dropdown.

5. Determine Workstation Application for Thumbnails (Optional)

In web dms the digital signature and object linking functionalities cant be carried out. The object links can be viewed if they are already carried out in sap-dms.

Generally in Teamcenter engineering(another plm package) the web version is used for carrying out the workflow i.e approvals kind of things.
