Error starting MiniSAP 7.01

Hi all, i've installed MiniSAP and installation worked fine. I Restarted my Windows Vista SP1 and all services seems to be fine, but when i try to launch the application the command became yellow and there's the error:

FAIL: process msg_server.EXE MessageServer not running

Then i've lauched the service from the command, but this is the result:

msg_server.exe=>sapparam(1c): No Profile used.

msg_server.exe=>sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in Profile nor in Commandline

I've tried from SAPMMC too, disp+work.exe is yellow, but after one minute is gray, and msg_server.exe is always grey.

Is this Vista home edition?

You can now either

- set the environment variable dbms_type to ADA for the user running the system or

- edit your instance profile (\usr\sap\<SID>\sys\profile\<SID>_<hostname>) and add the parameter "dbms/type" with the value ADA using a text editor

and try to start again.

I'm running Windows Vista Business edition.

Thanks for the reply, now i can login, but there's a dump immediately after the login,

Message server service sapmsNSP not defined

In think it's beacuse the Message server doesn't start

- stop the instance

- open c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\services and add an entry

sapmsNSP    36<systemnumber>/tcp

make sure you have one newline after that.

Then try to restart.
