RE: SAP BW Browser problem

Hi,

We have a problem with SAP BW Browser. Whenever we try to open SAP

BW3.X->Browser, it throws out error saying 'wdbbapp.exe has encountered

a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience.'

We have SAP FRONTEND 710(patch level 11) installed on Windows Xp

(SERVICE PACK 2). Have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the

frontend. Still the problem exists.

How do i go about solving this problem?

Please give your inputs..

Hello everybody,

I don't know where i can ask my question ... so i'm sorry if the place is inappropriate.

My question :

I worked on SAP BW and in order to connect many users simultaneously, i connected them via Browser SAP BW.

Today i work on SAP R3 (Ex. PGI), does it exist a browser R3 ? In this way, i could connect many users too ...

Hai,

Try to execute the Browser after stopping the Antivirus program if any.

Normally they might block wdbbapp.exe finding them as a threat to the system.

But the problem here is that, BW Browser working fine with SAP frontend 640. We are facing problem with 710 version

Hi, are you implement latest BW 3.5 for 710 ?

I'm use bw350gui710_4-10004473.exe SAP BW 3.5 AddOn Patch for GUI 7.10 PATCH LEVEL 4

and it works fine ... Also if i'm set the "Signature Design" it terminates as in your situation ...

I have user with same problme, how do I set "Signiture Design" to duplicate the error ????

Thanks for the note, the issue gets more complicated. Any user can log onto her PC and the work , FINE, She can log onto another PC she gets the same error. . Seems to be assosiated to her ID.
