Hi Everybody,

While doing MIRO for PO, we get the following error:

8888/29604 CTR belong to business area 8100 not 8200

Message no. KI188

Diagnosis

Account assignment object 8888/29604, type CTR is assigned to business

area 8100. You made an explicit assignment to business area 8200.

System Response

The posting row may contain only one business area.

Please give the me the reply as early as possible.

Please check the Account assignment object 8888/29604 and the the PO.

Both should be for same company code/business area.

Can anyone explaine how to check the account assignment object for a particular plant i.e. 8888

In the above scenario, CTR is assigned to Bussiness area 8100 but how can we change it to 8200.

Most probably you are using wrong Costcentre..

Consult with FI guys & use the correct Costcentre..

Check KS02 transaction for business area defined for cost centre, if required change it consulting your CO consultant.

Try changing business area from 8200 to 8100
