Hi friends ,
I am trying a proxy scenario in Discovery System V3 .But when we create XI receiver adapter we cannot see the status of that channel in communication channel monitoring .
What could be the reason ? Any input will be appreciated
Thanks.,
V.Rangarajan
Rangarajan.
In order to monitor the XI Adapter you can monitor in SXMB_MONI itself. If you get the Checkered flag then it means it posted successfully.

Hi Rangarajan,
Basically XI adapter is a part of Communication Channel Monitoring from Sp16. And also one more reason that u were unable to see XI adapter is that u might not have activated that adapter in your admin settings.
Following is the procedure :
Check in your XI Server, XI Adapter service is running in Visual Admin.
To find our Visual admin path
\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\admin\Go.bat
And also click that bat file it will open the visual admin, connect enter the J2EE Username & Pwd (user the username J2EE_ADMIN get the pwd from ur basis guy)
Cluster -> Server -> Services -> SAP XI Adapter : XI is running status if not start the service and run.
check started with SAP all the service should be running status.

Hi Vinod ,
We are using SP12 .
And also one more reason that u were unable to see XI adapter is that u might not have activated that adapter in your admin settings.
I saw in JEE Admin . This Adapter is in Running mode . the parameters are
xiadapter.isconfig.username PIAFUSER
1. May i change it to PISUPER and give password ?
2. http://localhost:50080/sap/xi/engine?type=entry as xiadapter.isconfig.url
but in CC monitoring , IE Components Test message tab i can see the url as http://iwdfvm2160.wdf.sap.corp:51080/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
will that port 50080 and 51080 will cause the problem ?
Thanks.,

Hi
Double click and open the Business System in ID -> Menu Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers -> There could you see the edited Logical System name.>
If no, then goto edit mode for BS and again goto Adapter Specific Identifiers. There at the bottom, u will find an option "Compare with System Landscape Directory". Try this and reactivate.

Abhishek
Hi,
If you want to know the data posted from XI adapter, first check SXMB_MONI in SAP ECC system and after that check in check MONI in XI system. If u get the sucess flag then the data has been sent sucessfully.
You cant monitor the Adapter in RWM Communication Channel Monitoring.

Phani
