SDK Timer component missing

Hi, I have downloaded a SDK timer component for DS 1.6. As I startup my appliction in the welcome page, I still can see my customer component (timer) and the basic components(16 inside) [sdk1.png], but when I open an saved application, I could not see the timer component in the component section anymore, and my basic component has increased to 20 [sdk2.png]. May I know why is this happening??

Hello Kai - which timer component was downloaded? Which SP of 1.6 are you using? Are you using the timer component in your application?

Hi Kai,

As of DS 1.6 there is no longer any need to use an SDK Timer component because a standard Timer component is available as a Technical Component, as shown below:

I recommend that you use the standard Timer component instead of the SDK Timer.

@Mustafa Bensan Thank you for your kind reply. May I know is there any components such as thermometer, and speedometer available for SAP Design Studio 1.6?
