Can Maintenance items be deactivated or marked for deletion

Hi,

Got a requirement for mass deletion of maintenance items in SAP. Version is 4.6C.

However could not find a function within Maintenance items to delete tehm or any transaction code to delete them as in case of maintenance plans.

Can someone please let me know if this is possible.

You can delink them by using the 'scissors' icon.

ther is no option for inactive or deletion , of maintenance items
