Dear All,
If I run the IP30 for a specific maint plan range for 1 day interval. After that again if I run the same transaction with 30 days interval for thae same range of maint plans. Then in backround job whether SAP Program will schedule maintenance plan for 1 days interval or for 30 days???
Please clarify...Correct if required..
Regards,
Sundar
hi
if you have specified the no of days ,then sysem will only release the order for which the call date is falling.ie if yuo have speified 30 days system will check all the maintenance plan within 30 days any call object is present ,if it is there then system will create the maintenance call object

Hi Thyagarajan,
My query is related to overlapping of interval days. Please go through following for details:
If I do dead line monitoring at 11.00 AM with 1 Month interval and again at 11.05 AM on same day with interval of 7 Days. (For the same maint plans)
Which dead line monitoring will remain effective whether for 7days interval or 1 Month interval or both
Pls clarify.
Regards,
Sundar
hi
if you have executed the IP30 for 30 days interval for your maintenance plan at 11:00 AM then the call object planned dates falls within 30 days will get generated
If you agian run the IP30 for your maintenance plan at 11:05AM ,then system will not create any call object since it has been performed earlier

Dear Sundar Desai,
I am not clear your Question. IP30 transaction is used to create maintenance orders particular periods say 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month depending on your requirement that for how much period you want to have order generation in advance.
You can run this job in background by doing setting as per requirement whether you want IP30 run daily, weekly or monthly . SAP will not set the job automatically in background.
If you donot want to generatet the PM order before it planned date you can set the call horizone 100% & run the IP30 daily sothat SAP will generate the call on daily basisi & only those call which are due for that day. If you donot want to generate the call if your previous call is not complete, then you need to check Completion confirmation checkbox.
I hope this much information will resolve your query. if not let me know.
Regards

Deadline monitoring doesn't schedule. It creates call objects if they are due in the specified period.
You may change the period whatever you want but system will generate call objects only if they are due. i.e if the due objects have already been created during the previous run, system won't create them again if you run DLM again for the same maint. plan range.
