Dropping of Deleted Items in Search Option of Material

HI,

I have put deletion flag for few of the duplicate Materials using MM06.

Is there any way to drop these duplicate deleted items form material search option in PR/PO etc?

Or alternately different colour scheme like Red Items are marked for deletion etc ?

This is required to just better facilitate end user to avoid for choosing wrong / deleted items initially & subsequently getting error message for deletion.

Hi,

If you don't want to see those material in system, you have to run the transaction code MM71 to Achive the materials.

I will suggest you to take help from your Technical team also.

You may add profile :S.ARCHIVE

To use archiving objects MM_MATNR for material master records and MM_SPSTOCK for special stock records, you require (besides the general archiving authorization) the authorization for the following objects:

S_PROGRAM

ABAP: program run checks

S_DEVELOP

ABAP Workbench

S_DATASET

Authorization for file access

S_SCD0

Change documents

S_SPO_DEV

Spooler: device authorizations

S_TCODE

Authorization check for transaction start

Settings for the Delete Program

Use

Here, you set the control parameters for running the delete program.

Features

You can set up a Test Mode Variant by modifying the parameters accordingly. A test mode variant does not delete data from the database.

You can set up a Production Run Variant by modifying the parameters accordingly. A production run variant deletes the archived data from the database.

Create your own matchcode where the deleted materails are excluded.

SPRO > Logistics > Logistics Master Data: Material Master > Material > Maintain search helps (OMSH).

Click the blue info button when in the transaction to review the matter in SAP library.
