How is the App Update feature implemented in SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Service for Development and Operations?

I've deployed a new version of the App to Mobile Services through SAP WEB IDE, Hybrid App Toolkit, then tried to import the Binary into App Update.

I get the following error:

Failed to upload application revision, unsupported application type or file type. Error details:[{"devCode":0,"message":"All files, except config.xml must be included in a %platform%/www folder"}]

No, but we didn't need to. We simply build the packaged app and it's deployed by our Network team to our company devices.

How can this be done through SAP WEB IDE, there is no www folder or config.xml file.

The documentation is not very helpful. The same applies to the error message in the Mobile Service for the function. What exactly does the content of the ZIP file have to look like? How can I use the App Update feature with the SAP Web IDE?
