Hi experts,
I created a sandbox system to install enhancement packages 8 but it requires a stack.xml file so I use LMDB( Landscape Management & Logical Comp.) -> Technical System Editor to create a new system. My colleague told me if I maintain Technical System, Hosts, (RFC)Destination, the solution manager will update the related items, like Software -> Software Component Versions automatic(via SLB <-> LMDB sync)? But it doesn’t. What programs should I run to force solution manager acquire the related Support Package level(Ex: SAP APPL, SAP BASIS..) automatically for me?
I google and tried this for more than two days on our Solution Manager 7.1SP14. Yes, I know it is obsolete. But I do not have time to upgrade solution manager to 7.2 recently, please provide a useful step-by-step link/documents, thanks for your help.
The way to do it is to register your SAP system in your SLD through RZ70 (executed in the system you want to register). Then, there should be a scheduled job that replicates the data from SLD to LMDB.

Hello,
for ABAP system, you need to use RZ70 and for Java system to use NWA to send system info to SLD. Before you see system info in LMDB, you have to see them in SLD. then the job SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001 will synchronize the system info from SLD to LMDB. If you still have the issue with this, you may contact SAP in SV-SMG-LDB.
Best regards,
Sam
