ESS Portal:personal number locked by the user himself message

Dear All,

I wanted to ask that when the personnel number in ESS is locked. when I access some Travel Manager iview through Portal then a message is displayed that u201CPersonnel number 4343 is locked by user Au201D where A is my portal userid.

Could you please tell why this is happening.

*my userid's are not locked at portal or backend.

Hi

Personal number is locked when you are doing modification in Ess or R/3.Sometimes it was locked due to some reasons in R/3 to unlock it go to sm12 tcode select user related to you and delete it.In frontend you have concept of object unlocking.

I tried using sm12 but no user is locked currently. Is there any other possibility for such message on Portal.

Go to system admin -

---

> object locking ---> select your object and click on unlock.

It will work

This is a problem caused by the ITS (no matter internal or external) If you go to R3 side and use TCODE SM04 you will see the user sessions and you have to cancel it manually. I not rememberexactly but in the external ITS there is a parameter for limiting the user session time....

You might have opened the PA30 T.Code with Personnel number 4343. Kindly go out of PA30 T.Code and try again.
