PP Order Creation.

Hi,

When i create a Production Order without BOM then the system gives me the warning messgae ' No Valid BOM exists' . Still system allows me to save & REL the order , but i want system gives an error message & restrict me from saving the order.

Is there any User Exit for the same ?

Pl give me solution.

Dear Mangalraj ,

I create the Production order by manually - CO01.

My setting in OPL8 is

1) routing selection ID -01

2) sequence exchange -1

3) Bom application -PP01

4) routing selection -03

Whether the Default operation maintained in OPJG is 0010.

is there any setting in customizing?

Dear Sarang,

Check with this settings,

In OPL8 - Task List type - N - Routing

Routing Selection - 2 - Routing/Ref.Operation set Mandatory(automatic Selection).

Check with this and give a try for order creation in CO01.

Check and revert back.

Hi,

You can create production version for all the BOMs that are available.If you make production version mandatory for all the process order then the system will not allow the user to create production order without production version.

Process:---

Create a new application - specific criteria for alternate determination in transaction OPJM.And check the check box production version.

Assign the application for a specific plant and order type in alternative determination in production.

path:--

SPRO:Production planning for process inductry>process order>Operations>BOM selection -->define alternative determination for production.

Hi Rupesh Bramhankar ,

I alredy maintain the message 'CO636-BOM for material & does not contain any valid items' but

system gives me only warnig message.

Is it possible by any user exit? my client want to restrict user while saving the same .

Go to OPJB--select Message no. CO636 and make it E-error message.
