Hi........

How to use reduction startegy .....what are setting in SPRO and corresponding entry in Routing and effects in Produciton Order.

Where we can see the actaul and reduce lead time when we use the reductionstartgy.

Hi,

Try the T-Code OPU3, select the order, go to the Details View, scroll to the bottom of the page.

Reduction type and % reduction in floats can be defined there.

Check and revert.

The following reduction measures can be carried out with respect to the operation:

Reduction of the queue time: For each reduction level, you can specify the percentage by which the queue time is to be reduced. However, you cannot reduce to a value smaller than the minimum queue time.

Reduction of the execution time by splitting Dividing an operation between several people or machines results in a reduction of the execution time.

Reduction of the lead time by overlapping

You can reduce the overall lead time of an order by overlapping operation processing.

Due to the operation splitting or overlapping the planned time to complete the opeartion will be reduced.
