Hi,
When I export a dashboard into MS Powerpoint and run the slide show I get error message 'Some Controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might not be registered on this computer.' and the dashboard goes blank. I think this is problem of Flash, but don't know exactly where is the problem.
When I export the same dashboard into HTML or SWF it works fine in the browser, only in the Powerpoint I am getting error.
Please help.
Regards,
Neel.
Hi Neel,
Check with the Flash player version on your machine and also on the machine where it was created.
I have noticed similar behavior as well.
I created the dashboard on a machine with Flash player 9.0.151 and then exported to powerpoint.
When I tried to open the .PPT slide on a machine with Flash Player 9.0.115,got the same warning message and blank dashboard.
I installed the latest version of flash player and it worked fine.
Note: The Flash Player 10(latest one) is officially not supported with Xcelsius, but it works fine. You can alternately try to install the updated version of Flash player 9 which is supported.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Amit.
