Workflow template activation - Reg.

Hi,

I have transported a Workflow Template from Development Server to Quality Server.

But the workflow seems InActive on the other server.

It is appreciated, if anyone suggest me how to get the Transported Workflow as an Activated-one in other servers too.

Hi RN,

As AV mentioned, you need to check for any Customizing requests that are yet to be transported. If No, then you need to Activate the WF through SWETYPV in Dev server again and save it in a Customizing request and then transport it to the Quality server.

Dear AD,

Really superb.

I had problem on ACTIVATION on other servers only; and other objects pertaining to this workflow templates are already transported successfully.

Now, my workflow is Transported,Activated,Working fine in other servers in the Landscape also.

Your suggestion on the usage of SWETYP is fantastic.

As other experts suggested you need to identify whether any transport is missing that needs to be released in Production.Do not activate it in Prod as it is a bad practise/.

Hi RN,

check if there are any Customizing Requests pertaining to your WF which is yet to be transported.
