Friends,
I want to make posting date filed as grey(should not be changed) for all the users and for all the transactions ie. F-02, FB50, FB60 etc.
And for some users(one or two) it should be in changeable mode.
How to proceed.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
Another way to "hide" the fields is to create screen and transactions variants for all of the required transactions. The transaction code is SHD0. These can then be assigned to different users.

Please also look in the document change rules for your requirement. I am not sure as I have no access to the system now. Please try yourself and see.
FA->Global settings ->Document->Rules for changing document -> document change rules

Hello
I doubt the possibility.
By default, displays the current date. You can define the date format according to your companyu2019s requirements in Administration ® System Initialization ® General Settings ® Display tab.
Check if you have more options.
Alternatively, check with BASIS team if the field can be linked to the user profile for specific restrictions.

Hi
I believe your requirement is that the users should not be able to change the posting date defaulted (generally current date).
Instead of making the same as display only (no straight forward solution) can't you use a validation rule to check that the posting date is the current date. This way users will not be able to change the same. Also if you could create a set with users for whom you do not want the check to apply, and then define your rule in such a way the sy-uname is not in the created set then the validation rule will exclude the users from this error message.
Thanks
