How to find the age of Raw materials ?

Hi

Are there any analysis tools within SAP that will show the Raw materials age at the time of receipt to better manage them ?? . We are currently entering the ''manufacturer's date'' as the ''production date'' during Goods receipt.

Pls throw some light on this.
