I created a FO type PO with item category B.
Did IR for that but cannot find PO history tab in ME23N....
What could be the reason...?

As an alternative you can also check in the change history data base table.
t.code - SE16N
table - CDHDR (get the entries per your user id)
table - CDPOS (Specify object i.e PO number)

May be possible your Invoice document is in Hold status.
Please check the document status first.

Check in table EKBE for that PO for any Po History..
If any History is there you will find the details in that table..

no its not there in EKBE ...
i made PO with Account assignment K and Item category B, it dnt allow me to do GR.
Than i did IR w.r.t PO, under account assignment tab for the full amount. PO ddnt had History and later when i tried doing further invoicing for the same PO it allowed me (despite of the fact that i had invoiced it fully earlier)
Is there any check at Item Category level?

Dear Satyendra,
Please check wheather the IR u have done is really posted or contains any errors and is automatically kept on hold. Because there is no reason i find if u have done IR wrt to the PO number correctly, then PO history should updated automatically. Please check for the documents u have posted.
