Posting documents at hierarchy node level

Hi !

I am trying to load some flat file data into BI, CO data to be more specific, but it is not at Cost Center or Cost Element level of detail. The file has information at Cost Center hierarchy node level.

To be clear, lets assume I have a CO_AREA '1234' with four cost centers grouped into two groups in a hierarchy.

1234:

Administration:

CeCo 10

CeCo 20

Distribution:

CeCo 50

CeCo 60

I need to load data at 'Administration' and 'Distribution' level. Can this be done ? I have seen it when loaded from ECC, but I never tried from a flat file.

I perfromed some tests, and the system does not load the information connected to the node, and instead it is load to CeCo 'Administration' which hangs from NotAssignedNodes.

Any help is welcome !!

Regards,

Santiago

A hierarchy is a presentation tool - there is no master data for a grouping node and thus you cannot post to it

I would simply post the data to a dummy cost centre in each node (and I do do this for budgets and plans - but within GL accounts - ie Salary Costs in HR costs - then just dispaly the data at that node level)

HI

you have to load all the data in object level then you have to create the heirachies using the nodes and intervels.(suppose you have the GLaccounts, all the gla accounts load into the obbjects and then create the heirachies for input materialcost, repairs and maintanence.....using the gl accounts which indicates.)
