What I mean is I have to create a pm order with a special document type.

Where can I determine that while creating the pm ?

you can customize per order type one document type.

As there is only one PM order type (30) you can only assign one general PR document type.

There is certainly no option via dropdown list to allow a user to choose a document type of his desire.

Maybe you can influence the order type with a user exit, but PM is not my work area, so I cannot tell you whether in PM is an user exit available or not.
