How to Keep the Field Value not to become Upper case letters in the Data Source selection?

Dear All,

we have created a Generic data source based on the Function module, our data source is working fine. but if we give selection in RAS3 for 1 field(The value is '

JVhzv2D02k3X0800ZNe2tm'). all lower case letters are becoming upper case letters and my data source is ending up with a dump.

Could you guys do let me know how to handle this to keep the same Value for the selections?

Is the behavior same when you give selections on BW side infopackage? Does it convert to uppercase there too?

Have not tried myself. But TRMID domain definition in SE11 allows lower case? Conversion routine at domain level will also have effect.

Either way it will be good to test at BW side Infopak level first.
