Greetings........

i have one routing containg for header qty as 40 Number (40 no in lot). Opeartion are as follows :

Op.1 to Op. 6 for one day ( Start date 01.12.2008 & finish date 01.12.2008)

Op.7 to Op. 8 for one day ( Start date 02.12.2008 & finish date 02.12.2008)

Op. 9 for one day ( Start date 03.12.2008 & finish date 03.12.2008)

Op. 10 for three day (Start date 04.12.2008 & finish date 06.12.2008)

Op. 11 for two day (Start date 07.12.2008 & finish date 08.12.2008)

Op. 12 for one day (Start date 09.12.2008 & finish date 09.12.2008)

Op. 13 for one day (Start date 10.12.2008 & finish date 10.12.2008)

Like wise one lot get comapleted in (1113211) in *10 days

When first day lot after (Op.1 to Op,6) goes to second day , during second day work for op.7 to 8,

another 40 qty comes for Op. 1 to Op.6 parallel to Op. 7 to 8. like wise all over lap ocured , so at the end of 11 day i got another 40 qty. on 12th day i get another 40 qty ...so on.

i am geting 40 lot each day after first 10 day.

So how to map this overlaping in scheuling ...

pelase give your valuble input..

Hi,

As per my understanding some of your operations are serial and some of them are parallel. But as per actual you scheduling the run time for a lot is 10 days. You wanted to say the when the op 7 and op 8 is going on the 1 to 6 operations (Work centers) are free means with 100% capacity.

As per me you need not to use reduction strategy which you cal maintain in OPUZ transaction.By maintaining maximum reduction level and % reduction in float.

As per me at the time of planning the capacity for the work centers of OP 1 to 6 will be zero after completion of 01.12.2008.The machines will be available for the next day.The scheduling for the orders will be lihe that....

Order 1 op1 to 6 01.12.2008

op7 to op8 02.12.2008

Order 2

Op1 to op6 02.12.2008

op7 to op8 03.12.2008 like wise.

Hope i am able to solve.
