2line items in transformation

In the standard cube, we have transformation for 2lis_13_VDITM and 2lis_11_vaitm.

These 2 datas in the cube are flowing as 2line items. Reference number is common between the above 2 data source. Can somebody throw a light as to why are 2 separate line items in the cube.
