hi,

Iam working with batch specfic unit of measure iam getting the above message while giving the bsum in the material master,

No conversion of UoM M to base UoM KG defined for unit of measurement kg,

Kindly let me know the difference between production unit and proportion unit.

Hi,

I think you are trying to assign Alt. Unit of measure in Proportion unit field without maintaining Conversion factor between Base Unit and that alt. unit of measure.So first maintain in unit of measure field of additional data.

Hi,

In SAP different units of measure we are using.

Base Unit of measure - Normally the material is handled in this base unit of measure.

Production unit of measure - Using this unit of measure for production. Base unit of measure may be Kg, but in production unit of measure may be MT. This conversion we need to maintain in the material master in additional data, unit of measure and need to define the conversion factors.
