Process Development or Process Development Perspective in Eclipse 7.5

Hello Experts,

I am going through a very strange issue of Process Composer and Process Development perspective not visible in Eclipse 7.5 I tries almost all the latest and earlier versions from Service Marketplace but no luck. Referred a few threads in SDN too but they were unanswered and if they were answered the solutions were suggested such as update JDK and all , i even tried that too but still it did not work.

Can someone please help on this as this issue is becoming a show stopper?

Hope all is well.

Please check the \eclipse\plugin folder. Is there any file (related to your issue) that has the extension different from .jar (to say .bat etc.)? If the issue persists, setup logging as per SAP Note 751640: How To Configure Logging For NWDI Developer Studio and more details would be available in the IDE log under <eclipse_workspace>\.metadata\.log.

If the issue persists, please do a complete reinstall as Szabi stated.

I would strongly recommend that install the NWDS on your local machine.

Hi sap user,

I just checked it in NWDS 7.5 (SP08 patch level 6) and I found the perspective process development.

I would suggest to download an NWDS as described in the WIKI page:

There was Eclipse 7.5 SP08 patch level 16 but not with patch level 6there in the URL provided, I installed it and tried running the .exe file ,got this error

The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared directory

Can you please help on this?

Hi SAP User,

Are you going to install it on your local file system or to a shared folder? ( NWDS has to be installed on local file system.) The Supported operation system is Windows 10 64-bit version. Also it has to run with SAP JVM 1.8 64-bit version.

I am installing this Eclipse on a remote desktop.The pre requisites you mentioned are already in place on the remote desktop but still no luck. Can you please help on this?
