XI/PI 7.0 Integration with SAP BI 7.0

Hi Friends ,

Could you please explain about the following

1 .Is BW 3.5 and BI 7.0 integration with XI is same ?

2. Proxy commuication between XI and BI is advisable ?

3. Do we need to do any changes if it is BW 3.5 ?

Please provide some more inputs regarding this XI/PI and BI integration . Any input will be appreciated
