    Hai,

    This is error ORA-00600 is an internal Oracle error.

    You can search in metalink (metalink.oracle.com) with ORA-00600 and the arguments provided you will find various metalink notes.

    You can use SAP's metalink id to login the above site. Use SAP Note 758563.

    Please check SAP Note 871735 - Current patch set for Oracle 10.2.0.

    Hi,

    you can follow the patch instructions given by SAP. Problem is you have some inconsistent meta data

    in BW - logical error in the BW application. Workarounds may break while running the system again...

    You have to patch and correct the issue.

    search service.sap.com for "ORA-14400" and see SAP note 991181 and related!

    Symptom

        * The program terminates with database error ORA1440 when you try to load an InfoPackage.

        * When you activate a transfer rule, a termination occurs with error RSAODS001.

    Other terms

    ORACLE, partitioned Persistent Staging Area (PSA) tables; ORA-14400
    RSAODS001, RSAODS 001, 001(RSARODS)
    Reason and Prerequisites

    Prerequisites: There is already PSA metadata in the system.
    This note improves the stability of the PSA/PSA service.
    Solution

    This note improves the stability of the PSA/PSA service with regard to inconsistent partitioning administration data.

        * BW 3.0B and BW 3.10 Content

               Implement the attached correction instructions. For SAP BW Releases 3.0B and 3.10, no additional Support Packages will be delivered until further notice.

        * BW 3.50

               Import Support Package 20 for 3.5 (BW 3.50 Patch 20 or SAPKW35020) into your BW system. The Support Package is available once Note 986891, "SAPBWNews BW Support Package 20 NetWeaver'04 Stack 20", which describes this Support Package in more detail, has been released for customers.

        * BW 7.0

               Import Support Package 11 for 7.0 (BW 7.0 Patch 11 or SAPKW70011) into your BW system. The Support Package is available when Note 914305 "SAPBWNews BW 7.0 Support Package 11", which describes this Support Package in more detail, has been released for customers.

    bye

    Dear Experts,

    I have a strange problem with my development server. whenever our developer trying to activate ODS or object or pulling data from ETL , initially we are getting "ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE" error in ST22(DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR). Then ADD-Partition failed error and finally ORA 600 error(ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ktfbbssearch-5], [3999], [], [], [], [], [], []).

    I have been in contact with SAP and Oracle meta link Support about an ORA-00600 ): internal error code, arguments: [3999], and they have declared it a bug. finally we upgraded from 10.2.0.2.0 to 10.2.0.4.0 After upgradation still we are getting same errors.

    has anybody else seen this error before, and if so, did you determine what caused it?

      Hi,

      this is an ORA-600 error (internal oracle error)

      It is not documented (at least in SAP notes)

      Then you need to open an SAP message.

      Include in the message

      1) list of patches installed (opatch - lsinventory)

      2) list of parameters set

      3) dump file created by the error

      4) how to reproduce it

    Hi,

    This error bascially implies that the bitmap of the tablespace is corrupted as

    Oracle didn't find the information in the bitmap consistent during allocating

    new extent.

    We have updated the issue to the Oracle Metalink support. They have given us a action plan to perform to rebuild the tablespace bitmaps using DBMS_SPACE.TABLESPACE_REBUILD_BITMAPS

    package. But still it is giving error. Please help this regard.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Satish.K

      Hi sathish,

      Can u please run Verify db and check db in db13 .

      See if there are any corrupt blocks.

      I doubt that also.
