Hi

Im learning MDM by myself. I want basic step-by-step procedure for

1) Creating the repository

2) Importing the Data into repository

3) Some Data Manager Functionalities.

Actualy what is the initial process to create in MDM.

Please give me by step-by-step .

- MDM Data Manager

- MDM Import Manager

MDM Console: Is where you perform all MDM Administrative Functions of MDM:

Hi Mohammed,

To start with

1. Create a sample repository using MDM Console which is used to perform administrative task like Maintaining repostories, Users etc.

2. Create some sample data using MDM Data manager which is used to manage data, workflows, validations, matching & merging etc.

3. Try to import data using MDM Import Manager through which data can be imported in MDM in various formats like Excel, Tab Delimited etc.

Its better to stick to one tool and explore its functionality to the maximum. You can follow the order:

MDM Console

MDM Data Manager

MDM Import Manager

MDM Syndicator

These are the basic tools of MDM, apart from this we have MDM Publisher, Image Manager, MDM Java APIs, MDM ABAP APIs and many more.
