    Hi

As far as my knowledge goes, as your Scheduling category is BN(No MRP), availability check is not done.

So, the probable reason could be, you have maintained the Loading time and transportation time in Routes as 1 day each, hence the system is confirming the dates after 2 days.

Check your customizing setting for Routes.

You can check in the quotation that is created, in the overview screen, u can click on Shipping tab, you can see the loading date.

    Hi,

In Quotation at header level data under "Shipping" tab check the field Complete delivery.

Also check your scheduling settings for loading and transport planning.

I hope this will solve your issue.

    Regards,

    Abhee

Dont worry about schedule lines in quotation. Just create a sale order referencing this quotation and there see in schedule line tab how the stock is confirming.

As you would be aware you cannot create delivery directly from a quotation which has already been rightly pointed out by Pradyumna

Date format: Delivery date : order qty: rounded qty: confirmed qty:* schedule line category:

      D: 26.01.2009 : 1 : 1 : 0 : BN

    Hi,

Check the days /time settind for Shipping point and Route in IMG.

Based on these settings(delivery scheduling) Loading time, Mat. available date , Goods issue date will be picked in quoatation/orders.

Shipping Point: Loading toime and Picking time(check in define enterprise structure)

Route: Transportation planning time and Transit time(SD-Basic Functions)

    Hi

This indicates, system has done Forward scheduling as beacuse system has first tried with Backward scheduling and found that the Requested delivery date 26/01/2009 is not possible to confirm.

From Forward scheduling, system has calculated the next earliest possible date is 28/01/2009.

That means ,you can not deliver before 28/01/2009.

If you want to do this then try from some other plant if available.

But, remember items in Quotation have schedule line but these schedule lines are not deliverable.

So, first create an order with reference to the quotation, then in the Sales order you try to deliver from other plant if available and stocks are also if available.

    Hi

The schedule line is relevant for availability check but will not Transfer the requirements. Check the customising of that schedule line in VOV6 for details about availability check and TOR.

    Regarding the Schedule line categories...

    D: 26.01.2009 : 1 : 1 : 0 : BN

    D 28.01.2009 ; 0 : 0 : 1 : BN

The first schedule line is always created for the Requested Delivery Date. If the system cannot confirm the delivery (backward or forward scheduling) then it determines Zero quantity for the first schedule line and then creates one or more extra schedule lines with the confirmed quantites and the delivery dates.

    Thanks,

    Ravi

      hi ,

      thanks for your quick response

what are the effecting factors that determines the delivery date in the schedule lines

in my case i have order type as quotqtion and material not relevent to MRP

it picks up BN and proposes two schedule lines.

let me know to make the changes to confirm the qauntity on the same day

      thanks

    Hi

Donot maintain any lead times in Shipping point, Route and also donot maintain the RLT for this material in the Material Master Record. Then the system will give the schedule line for the requested delivery date.

    Thanks,

    Ravi
