0TCTPRCSVAR_TEXT has dup records

I ran the load for this infoObject and it erred out due to dup records. I applied note 1134138 manually to the transfer rules but there were still errors. In the infopkg I clicked "ignore double data records" and "only PSA" became active.

So, my question is If I leave it like this do all the records only accumulate in the PSA and never reach the InfoObject as Master Data?

If I look the datasource and then manage all the requests have a "cog with a check mark under it". Does this mean that the Master Data was Updated?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi

As far my knowledge says, when you have uploaded the Records with Only PSA, the request will not be updated to further data Targets, but you can update them manually to the Data Targets from the Info Package, monitoring screen (or) PSA update records.

If I look the datasource and then manage all the requests have a "cog with a check mark under it". Does this mean that the Master Data was Updated?

Please check the PSA request whether it has updated mark (Wheel with Green tick) then you can consider that your Request is been updated, if not you have to update manually.

Hope it helps and clear

Aduri,

Yes, that's what I thought as well. I have a "wheel with a check mark"

I have an "attribute change run" that follows the dtp. Is that forcing the update?

Hi

Attribute change run is meant to capture the changes to the Attributes (Structure changes to the Master Data Objects) It does not normally updates with the data.

If you have the updated status for the PSA records just see the PSA Request Log to trace how it is been updated to Data Target. (Try both the ways PSA -- MANAGE & DATATARGET - MANAGE - REQUEST -- LOGS/MONITOR)

Hope it helps

Very Good, I see that.

BTW, the attribute change run wasn't forcing the update. I was looking at the wrong object.

Please refer to OSS notes: 934848, 1229385.

1229385: BIAC:Duplicate entries for 0TCTPRCVAR_TEXT in PSA.

To resolve this specific error you will see that the corrections are contained in BI ABAP SP19.

I personally resolved the issue by manually applying the corrections i found in note 1134138. That was easy enough to do. Another option for me would've been to reinstall the technical content, since we are now on a better level BI_CONT 704 Support package level 0003 (SAPK-70403INBICONT)

Thanks,

Nick
