Audit Documentation


After migrating from BPC 7.5 to EPM 10.1, I've got a lot of questions, so I'm looking for detailed documentation for EPM 10.1 Auditing. (I've read the Admin, Install, and security guides).

Here's a couple examples of information I'm looking for:

1. How does Schedule Synchronization work under Data Audit options?

2. I have a database named [Model]Extra which contains tables like AuditActivityHdr[Model]. In 7.5 I was able to query this table to see daily user activity. Although data audits are enabled, this table is blank in 10.1.

A. Are the AuditActivityHdr tables no longer used in 10.1?

B. Is there a better way to audit user logins / activity?

3. What is the difference between "Save DataAudit" and "Update" in "Manage Data Audit"
